Masalewale Matar / Indian Spiced Winter Peas

Recipe

250 gm fresh whole peas
1 tsp oil
1/4 tsp turmeric powder 
1/2 tsp red chili powder 
5 to 6 tbsp water 
Salt to taste

Method

  1. In a deep pan heat the oil.
  2. Add the peas & keep stirring continuously for few minute
  3. . Add in turmeric, salt, chilli powder. Stir again.
  4. Add in water. Cover and cook on low flame till all the water evaporates and it’s dry.
  5. Serve hot.
  6. Eating method: Take the whole pea  pod in your mouth and drag in between you teeth and enjoy with the skin layer.

Ingredients
