Many dishes of Amrawati have touch of Hyderabi dishes. In 1953, Amrawati – Maharashtra  (previously known as Berar) was under the rule of Nizam of Hyderabad. So many of its cuisine has the influence of the Hyderabad region. Among such recipe is Tahri. This one pot meal is simple to prepare& beats the biryani in terms of taste & flavor. Chicken Patiala / Murg Patiala is curry from the land of Punjab. Cooked in fragrant spices this dish is served with chapati on the sides of Dal & Rice.

So I am trying to cook different varieties of chicken curries from different  Indian states and developing the recipe to our taste. I found many version of Chicken Patiala recipes available on the web. Safed Murg or White chicken curry is a melt in mouth chicken curry. Today sharing with you all  a one pot meal Khausey. It is an Indo Burmese dish. I had eaten this dish around 15 years back at one of my relatives. Till know the taste still lingers on my tongue for it. Few weeks back I tried to replicate the Khausey  recipe I had at their place by remembering the tidbits of recipes.
